So who else hates Firefox?

gnome is half the problem too.

its a memory hog compared to xfce and kde.

for me firefox freezes whilst loading any page. where upon completeing hte page loading ....any other tab/page/window then resume previous activity.....

its like firefox uses 100% cpu just load and parse html/js/css and imgs.

what .....the ......helll.....is....going......on?

windows does this to me on any kind of action taken from the quicklaunch bar. 20sec delays for anything to launch. /faceplam

Firefox is bad in any environment.

Don't like it myself. It performs Ok in Windows but in Ubuntu, it's been nothing but trouble. I rarely use it. Opera is my favourite. I've been using 9.50 since it became available, it's a Beta and it hasn't crashed yet.

And...Adobe Flash works great on it!

I don't really like it either. But I tried the Firefox 3 Beta the other day and I will definitely be using it. I was very fast and stable. I am going to switch to Opera for now and go back to Firefox when v3 is released.
