What ubuntu needs to become more popluar

ubuntu is a great os, probably the best out there, but is not advertised enough. I mean like what apple does to sell the macs. they have many pages about whats good about them and REALLY makes u want to get one. Ubunut doesnt have that. Also ubuntu laptops need to be made, like the macbooks cuz they look really cool and also make you want one. What do u guys think about it? What are ur ideas?

i fully agree with you, but while apple puts a higher perceived value on their stuff by making it look all pretty and what not, ubuntu seems to go for the more word of mouth approach.
dont get me wrong, i want an apple, but mostly for aesthetics.
i'm happy with ubuntu on my pc.

i'd most likely buy an ubuntu-book. ha ha

yeah also it would help cuz it would allow that pc to be fully compatible with Ubuntu.
