usb dongle

Good day
I am using a cad package in windows that I would like to get working in ubuntu 7.04. I have installed using wine, and it runs in demo mode only.
Now I have to install the usb dongle.
This would involve first running a dongleuninstall.bat file that works.
Then I have to copy two files from a cd rom to the programs directory.
This does not work. I am new to linux

This isnt the place for WINE support but... If you want to run a windows environment on a computer, I would check out VirtualBox.org and run a virtual machine.
