    WoW sound, horrible after 2.3?

i have had this problem for almost a week now (patch 2.3 came out tuesday, duh) and since that patch ive had horrible sound stuttering, mostly when im loading something, or doing more intense actions a.k.a. raiding and battlegrounds, i get the stuttering also when im loading webpages, or doing other things on another desktop. before 2.3, i had little to no sound problems, only framerate, which ive fixed, (60 FPS now,)

in the ubuntu help page for WoW, it has me edit the config.wtf file and add these lines:

    SET SoundOutputSystem "1"
    SET SoundBufferSize "150"

i did this, and it didnt help at all.

im running WoW in openGL, but i dont think that makes a difference for the sound.

any other suggestions on how i can fix this??

You're not alone mate, sound since the 2.3 update has been flaky for me also.

Apart from the stutter, I'm also experiencing a total sound loss from time to time.

The only work around I've found is to log out and restart the client.

If anyone out there has some insight into the problem, please share it.

    Cheers.
