Screenshot please.
u can see the terminal output; it shows no error
It seems like your system is missing some fonts, I guess, or maybe the gtk engine isn't being able to display them.
Anyway, for anyone having problems to make the Eternal SPU Plugin work in a Gutsy x86_64 environment because the "libSDL.so" is missing in /usr/lib32, I attached the file in this post.
Strangely, I couldn't install it from the repos (downloaded a i386 version) using the commands "sudo dpkg -x "name of.deb" ." and moving the file to /usr/lib32. The file wasn't extracted when I made this input. It just kept deleting itself over and over , so I had to copy it from another machine running a 32bit version of Gutsy, and it worked flawlessly.
Cheers from Japan.
hmmm; is there anyway to fix it ; and i installed my gutsy recently ;
so i haven't messed with it , that much to cause the problem
The library inside this package is an x86_64 type. Symlinking didn't work. I had to use an i368 instead.

About the fonts, I just took another look in your screenshot and noticed that you "may" be using some different fonts/encoding because of your native language (Hindi?). Is your Ubuntu running in english?
Cheers
yes its in english only;
