No sound in Gutsy, Conexant HDA intel CX20549
So I have problems with my Intel HDA Conexant sound card.
Issue: Sound card is detected in Ubuntu 7.10 and 7.04., however, no sound produced at all in Ubuntu 7.10, 7.04 (as an aside, openSUSE 10.3 would not detect my card at all). Laptop: Toshiba P100 ST9752 Card: Intel High Definition Audio, I believe Conexant CX20549 Venice (according to the Ubuntu sound volume GUI, then "File", then "Change Device"). I have tried several fixes, but none have worked. I am ready to start anew. Please help me out! |
