    I don't think Inkscape supports any sort of table layout.

    You can use the Align & Distrubute Tool & the Grid Tool to line up text areas and such to "fake" tables, but that's about it.
    Trying really hard to not be a future-hating curmudgeon. Ubuntu 6.06 Dapper was the best desktop ever...

    In case anyone else comes across this thread-

    Make the table in open office, and export to PDF, then import into Inkscape, with import text as text option.
