Everytime I install a game that needs a disk. The Install goes perfectly but afterwards it won't detect a disk even though I started it from the disk.

Wine doesn't support most copy protection you need to apply nocd cracks to get games working.

Discussing the how's and why's of using no-cd cracks is strongly discouraged on these forums as they are often associated with pirating software. You'd be better off doing a Google search for the needed info.

Why? current law states that you only own the right to use the piece of software, You don't own the software.
So that shiny round thing with photoplop on it you payed for isn't worth the money you payed and in essence all you have done is spent $649 on a placemat !

Try reading the software agreement ( on retail products) and yes company's don't believe in fair use any more !
