At the moment I'm using an old Logitech Quick Cam Express and is loaded with Skype. But I'm having problems with the video signal, don't know if some issue of my camera or this first bugged version of the 2.x series. Anyway honestly I don't really care. I'm really happy now to see that skype is working to bring me videoconference with every mac/windows/linux skype machine.

I'll tell you later how can I manage a video call, now at 01:55 here in europe everybody is sleeping!

Known Issues with Compatibility for 2.0.0.13 * Using uvc webcam driver with new Logitech cameras can cause a split video effect which does not recover until you restart video. * Using uvc webcam driver with ATi fglrx graphics card driver results in a memory leak and potential crash currently. * gspca webcam driver can crash sometimes during webcam initialisation (which can also happen during the call). * Using a display driver with only a single Xv port means you can only see video in one direction currently. * Using a display driver with no Xv support will not work at all. * ATi fglrx driver versions before 8.42.3 may crash your X server and lock up video during the call. * ATi fglrx driver version 8.42.3 may crash your X server and lock up video at the beginning of the call. Issues in orange are fixed already for the next release. I'll update these issues as we isolate more.

Awesome. My built-in webcam worked flawlessly. I was concerned after I couldn't get it to work with YouTube.

Does anybody have any idea how I can get my Logitech Clicksmart 310 to work in Skype?

In Camorama I can capture pictures with my webcam,
although in skype option it detects my logitech Clicksmart 310 (/dev/video0), it actually remains a black screen when I press the "Test" button. Does anybody know how to fix it? Thanks.
