yfaykya Spilled the Beans Join Date: Oct 2007 Beans: 13	DVD Drive speed Hi all, I was using feisty with SVN and the DVD drive slowed down when playing DVDs so DVDs were watchable. I upgraded to mythbuntu (disabled the standard mythfronend/backend) and now the DVD drive will not slow down. I tried the packaged frontend but no joy there either. Any ideas? Its making watching a DVD impossible. PS. I tried hdparam -E, eject -x and setcd -x and none worked. Thanks, D.
