    Database Management IDE, MS SQL

Hello, I have to regularly switch between Windows and Ubuntu when I'm developing .NET applications or to use the MS SQL management IDE. I'd like to find a preferably free/OS, linux IDE that is capable of managing MS SQL, as well as the usual. Can anyone make any recommendations? Many Thanks.

OpenOffice has a database program which lets you connect to a database using JDBC. You can do queries on the database that way. There is also SquirrelSQL which is a Java based SQL tool, which can connect to any database, given you have the JDBC driver for it.
