    new mac leopard

Hello, I was looking at the mac website today and noticed that on the bottom of the features page there's a little button that advertises "the fully unix compliant mac leopard."

what does this mean? I'm not a big time mac user, but I always thought that the apple OS was already based off of unix?

I think they probably mean POSIX compliant, don't they?

AFAIK, OS X has always been POSIX compliant, I think they're just reiterating that.

They mean Mac OS X is a fully certified UNIX OS now, unlike previous versions.
