I am running 7.04 on an older laptop that does not have a NIC.
I do have a Westell 802.11g wireless PC card (pcmcia). What do I need to do to get it up and running on my local house network? I am retired HW Tech Support Engineer from Sun Microsystems and have not done much with Linux drivers. Many thanks in advance, John |

Re: NIC westell card
Hi John, have you tried just booting the laptop with the card in? It may *just work*, especially if you try it with the hot new Gutsy. Beyond that, I'm not sure, I haven't used a pcmcia card in a while, thought I know a co-worker is using one.
