sinabi mo pa!, the netbook comes pre-installed with Windows 7 and Android Froyo, tested it for one week but I am totally annoyed by Windows update, while android is fast but I would prefer using android on a tablet not on a netbook, so I wiped the whole disk and install ubuntu 11.10 (I still prefer this version) then dual boot with Lubuntu 12.04 just for testing and I was surprised how fast this version of ubuntu on my netbook even with Compiz installed! everything works fine even the built-in mic now works!

Acer Aspire One D255E specs:

1.6 Ghz Intel Atom N455 - hyperthreaded so it is like dual core
L2 cache - 512.0 KB
Graphic Processor: Intel GMA 3150
2 Gb of Ram (upgraded from the stock 1Gb)
320 Gb of HDD (to be upgraded to 500Gb soon )
