Hardy is a new Bird

As of today , October the second, Gutsy Gibbon (7.10) is finished as far as art goes. From here on , we begin work on Hardy Heron (8.04). As posted, Hardy will be a LTS release , and with that comes the task of redefining the look of Ubuntu.

This is where you come in.

The big guys on top want to change this. Starting with Hardy , we move to Orange and Black (unofficially) for the default look.

Does this mean the Ubuntu Forums colors will change? I mean... if the distro's colors are changing in the future then the distro's forum should also have a color change right?

A thought I had, which I said in another post, is that I think that a planet earth image would look great in the middle of the Ubuntu icon or some where on the desktop wallpaper. Also using the earth image as icons, for example, the Ubuntu gnome start up menu (or a combination of the Ubuntu icon and earth image , etc.)

The earth image would symbolize more of what the Ubuntu word itself means as well as the OS.
