Frets on Fire

Frets of Fire is the greatest commercial for guitar hero ever. Me and 4 friends all ended up buying guitar hero after getting hooked on FoF.

It's like a gateway drug or something.

why? its what you have to end up doing if you cannot find a deb for a certain program. either way, installing a deb or downloading the program from the website and extracting it, your still doing the same thing, running the binary...

the repo versions have never worked for me, even though the regular download works fine

anyways, i've got GH3 to keep me busy atm

emm... Maybe you should try updating the apt-get sources list....
Try

sudo apt-get updtate

If that doesn't solve the problem... Try finding out the source adress of frets on fire.... Maybe someone knows it? Hope it helps, and please be aware, that I don't use the english version, so there may be some mistakes here .
