    Hmmm, I may be interested in a group in Troy as well, as I live in Royal Oak.

    Depends on your definition of "near".
    MDLUG meets in Inkster, which is about a 30 minute drive.
    MUG is in Farmington Hills, about a 20 minute drive.
    There's a group that meets at Wayne State (WSLUG, I believe).

    I'm currently saving up for my first Linux laptop (God bless System 76 ), and I'm planning on starting a Michigan group for students of Central Michigan University and the surrounding area.
    Linux systems are like LEGOs :
    they are infinitely customizable
    and limited only by a user's imagination.
