bitcomet works but not utorrent ?

i have a http proxy
bitcomet works fine but utorrent is not
utorrent was able to get the number of peers etc ... but was unable to connect to any;

i attached the screenshot of settings in both

THE REASON WHY I WANT Utorrent to work is im using ubuntu ...... and im running utorrent under wine ; i tried deluge azureus and what ever bittorrent i can think of , but no use

Ktorrent is the answer (you didn't list it as one tried). Just checked the options and it seems to support proxy just fine though I've never done/tested it. In the repositories so just install from the terminal/synaptic and configure.

Oh and I advise against bitcomet... that program has done numerous things over it's history against the community resulting in it's banning from several clients. I don't think folks should be using such a program, up to you though.
