    So far, this just looks like the chosen method to keep Mac OS X/Intel confined to Apple hardware. It's not even used outside the PPC emulator (which Apple got from a third party). Also, it's not in any shipping systems yet (just the x86 developers' units). So, I'd hesitate to jump to any conclusions.

    So? They're obviously thinking about including it, that is bad enough. This crap needs to be stopped and the quicker the better because it's like a cancer if we don't stop it before it spreads we'll be doomed.

    Yeah, seriously...if we keep scratching things off to-buy lists when the companies pull this garbage there's not going to be anything left we can buy...

    Buy a Playstation 3. Then buy the official Sony hard drive for it which has Linux preinstalled.

    How exactly is that going to help? The PS3 will be loaded with DRM.
