    I Cant Find What I Install From Sympatic Update's Help

    when i install things from sympatic updates i cant find them anywhere but i was told that they go to debian in the menu panel but i cant activate it please help i live in bulgaria i am bulgaria sorry for the wrong spelling's

    If you're trying to locate a program, application or utility you've installed, the whereis command is useful. Maybe you installed a program through Synaptic called xmms but can't find in anywhere.
    Code:
    whereis xmms
    Sometimes some programs don't create an entry under the menu. In this case you may have to just manually make your own entry there.

    that didnt help at all i want to enable debian please help please all i want is kooldock and other stuff

    /usr/bin/alacarte
    Then add a check to Debian in the Main Menu list.

    NOTE: It won't work if Debian menu is actually empty...
