    Question Member List?

    Hey all
Vbulliten has this feature but I saw that we don't have any member list.. The member list make searching of a particular member easy. and if you have forgot the post then you can search that through the Member name Also since we have a bad inbuilt search engine why not adding member list ?

    What say ?

    Re: Member List?

I don't think a member list would be too helpful. If you want to keep track of a thread you can just subscribe to it. And if you want to make a topic specific search, going to through a members list won't be of much aid. Since our profiles do not contain a line that says: xserver expert or wireless networking guru.

    Re: Member List?

http://ubuntuforums.org/search.php lets you search for members. It also autocompletes names, giving you a list of the ones matching your current input, just click one of the suggestions, or arrow keys and enter.

You can then easily get to their member profile, by clicking their name on the search results.. and from there search for their posts or threads individually.
Every time you install Jaunty, a kitten........ wait sorry what year is this again?
Please don't PM support questions, post a thread so that everyone can benefit

When you do searches by member name, the name will autofill based on even just one or two letters you begin typing.

As far as I know the admins disabled it for member's privacy and preventing spam.
