Visualboy is sluggish!

hello i'm using feisty and really like it so far
the only problem i got so far is that visual boy runs at 40%
i have an athlon xp 2800 and 512 ram and an nvidia geforce 4 mx, ofcourse i got the restricted drivers installed and i can run zsnes with no problems, can anyone help please?

VisualBoyAdvance uses software rendering to draw the screen, therefore it's slow even with fast machines. Mednafen works a lot better for me (though it is a commandline based program so it's a bit harder to use).
