Hi, My name is Dale, Im from Suffolk and not a farmer

. Im new to Linux but not computers. Im just glad that Ubuntu is getting more and more user friendly. I now have Linux running on most my systems with the majority without a windows install.

Been using Ubuntu for a while now, been using Linux on + off for years (right back when u had to type 'init x' to even get into your desktop lol) + played with quite a few distros... yet somehow I still know sod all compared to a lot of people on here! lol

Hi folks,
My name is Steve, I live in Northwest Arkansas, USA.
Fairly new to computers, and brand new to Ubuntu. I salvaged an old machine and am in the process of installing Ubuntu 12.04. My main machine has X-P sp3. One of the reasons I am doing this is for the challenge.
Please be patient with me, I ask many questions, most would fit in the stoopid category.
