[IDEA] Use a physical CD or already downloaded ISO

I downloaded Wubi on an XP machine and selected some options. I then realized it was going to download the entire 'buntu disc. I have a slow connection but have a disc send via ShipIt. Even if I had a faster connection, if I had already downloaded the disc once I would not want to do it again.

Please add a feature where instead of downloading Ubuntu you can opt to use a physical CD/DVD or an ISO that has already been downloaded.

I am confused. How does the version of Ubuntu make a difference? Its not like you need to persuade Ubuntu developers to include anything in Gibbon.

To do what you say we need to base the installer on the live iso as opposed to the alternate iso, and that requires quite some work from other ubuntu devs.
