http://www.flightgear.org/

The "Download Aircraft" link should help. There is plenty of documentation on there as well as some forums should you get stuck.

Re: FlightGear

You need to start Flightgear by using Konsole. Konsole is available via your Start Menu (the System tab).

When you have started Konsole, the command to start Flightgear is 'fgfs'.

To find out what aircraft are available when you start, enter 'fgfs --show-aircraft'. This will display a list.

When you have chosen your desired aircraft, start Flightgear with the command 'fgfs --aircraft=' and here type the aircraft name from the list that you require.

As reclusivemonkey rightly says, you can add further aircraft at the 'Download Aircraft' link .

To get a full list of the help available, use your Konsole and type 'fgfs --help'.

Re: FlightGear

Once you've downloaded your aircraft, you need to put them in the right place...

Mine are in /usr/share/games/FlightGear/Aircraft
