xmgrace yow 1 yow 2

Hi all:
I was plotting my data with xmgrace that I installed using synaptic in my feisty version of ubuntu. Everything seems to be working fine except that in the sell where xmgrace was opened some weird messages appear. They read like
Yow 1
Yow 2
I've seen that something like that has happened to others with debian but I was not able to find any solutions.
Any ideas?

I got something similar at home, but not at my office.
Despite the annoying messages, xmgrace works fine for me.
My solution? to create a launcher and I do not care about that messages, because I do not see them anymore.

yow 1 is a single click, yow 2 is a double click.
