    gnomefiles is still off line...
I will post the new version here, I didn't do a lot of testing. If someone wants to try it out and report bugs that would be great.

    Code:
    03.09.08------0.7.5
    	+removed assisted x-mame installation.
+fixed icon-size option in the gui
+fixed bug in recreate folder structure mode
    	+gui: music widget enable/disable
    	+gui: launcher configuration
+launchers configuration file has changed. The old config is obsolete.
+gui: source configuration for bookmark grabbers
    	+help files updated
+name decoding for all bookmarks grabbers
+anobii: account grabber using ~username as the source
+fixed problem with icon-size when used with recreate folders
+when running from the cli if there are no destination folder the gui generated config will be used. Now you can do "avatar-factory -g grabber"
    +fixed problem with book-open theme (--comic-bookmark)

Thank you for the update . I think you already know, the anobii grabber just displays the first 12 books in the shelf. By the way, the username I had to use was exactly the code I gave you before for the user_id.

Ok, this should be the last spam for a while. I finished the alternative GUI. If anyone wants to try it (and tell me if it works for you), I recall here how.

First, you should have avatar-factory 7.5 installed, which is plausible if you are reading here.
Second, you should install BUC. You can do that from the repository
    Code:
    deb http://buc.billera.eu/ubuntu/ binary/
    for 32 bit or
    Code:
    deb http://buc.billera.eu/ubuntu64/ binary/
for 64 bit. If you don't want to mess with the repositories, you find here the debs.
Last, download and uncompress the attached zip, and run the GUI with
    Code:
    buc avatar-factory.mc
Alternatively use the attached deb and you will get an entry in the Applications menu.

You can see the interface (in italian) in the attached screenshot. So here is what it does:
    - Use avatar-factory on the fly or save default settings
    - Mixed behaviour is allowed: you can modify some setting and use your saved default for the others.
    - Save global preferences, like the music application
    - Displays help for the grabbers
    - Available in english and italian

And here is what it does not:
    - Use some options (for instance delete broken links). This is a problem of space: once BUC is improved, so that I can dispose better the buttons and so on, I will add more options.
    - Grabbers which are supposed to work with multiple folders, like film, with my GUI are limited to one folder at a time.
    - The defaults for the grabbers are saved in a different folder than Yuzem's GUI. My first version was reading Yuzem files, but as soon as I added the option to write, I decided to use my own files, to avoid to mess with the functionality of the original program.
    - The only exception to the above is that I modify the file ~/.avatar-factory/general containing the general options. I could not avoid it, so it is particularly important that I'm told if there are any bugs with this, since I don't want to create problems with the original program.

If I find some bugs I will just update the version here. Hope you like it.

EDIT (revision=2): I corrected a bug which prevented the use of the option -add for music avatars, and added a Check for updates button.
New translations in spanish, danish, dutch, swedish and (brazilian) portuguese available thanks to harlan, cmay, lode, Kvark and pedro3005 respectively.

I tried it, It is working for me but I didn't do a lot of testings. It is much faster for running one grabber at a time or for example if you just want to pick a source and a destination and go!

Wonderful!! No more keeping track of my Anobii books with bookmarks By the way, for the problem with the ' character, I have no problems now when using bookmark, but the character just disappears when using the account.

Re: Howto: Music album covers in Thunar Nautilus and everywhere!

    i need some help please.

When i run the film grabber (source and the destination folders are same where my movies are stored) it runs for a while and creates the icons in ~/.avatar-factory/icons/theme. is this normal or is it supposed to change the folder icons in my movies folder?

EDIT: nvm i got it working thx

Actually with the new version each book name ends with "<span class="

By the way, I've updated my GUI with some bug fixes and translations.

Re: Howto: Music album covers in Thunar Nautilus and everywhere!

It isn't happening with all books. This account works without problems:
    Code:
    avatar-factory -g anobii ~cyesuta ~/Desktop
And this works until book 36:
    Code:
    avatar-factory -g anobii ~arcanewinter ~/Desktop
I did test the latest version before releasing it but I did not go beyond book 35.

    I will take a look.
    Thanks for the feedback.
