I don't know but my guess is that they can't do that.
You can try other programs for that:
Album Cover Art Downloader
It is for windows but it works with wine. In Configuration window > Targets > mp3 files Uncheck enable if you don't want that to happen.

This is wonderful!
One issue though: I use Quod Libet. It seems the avatar-launcher only works when Quod Libet is already running.

Here it is the new version, the bug should be fixed now and also the problem with quodlibet.
There was another problem, some times the avatars weren't sorted in the correct order, that is also fixed. (it was reported by swede_hac)

There are picture avatars in this version:
The picture avatars can provide a flat view of all your picture folders showing the 3 last added pictures of each folder. They act as folders (when clicked they send you inside the respective folder)

Great job! I finally found that Album Cover Art Downloader for Linux (it was even a deb!) and I thought I'd share it with others. I really love the work you've done. Any future plans for banshee support? I was looking through avatar-launcher.py and was going to modify it to include banshee...but wasn't sure if banshee could handle it. Anywho, download the deb and follow this instructions to get the program working...It won't work upon initial installation.

There is one bug with the package that needs to be fixed before you can use Album Cover Art Downloader in Feisty.

1) Open a terminal, and navigate to the folder that contains the files for the application:

cd /usr/lib/albumart/

2) Open the offending file in gedit as root:

gksudo gedit albumart_images.py

3) Insert the following as the first line of the file:

#coding:utf-8

4) Save the file, then exit gedit.


To run the program, either issue the following from a terminal or the Run window in GNOME (Alt+F2):

albumart-qt

You are now good to go find gorgeous album covers! Many thanks to Sami Kyöstilä for this wonderful program. I hope that the project was not taken down at the request of Amazon or Walmart, and that it will be back up and running soon.
