If that isn't the problem post the content of a non working avatar.
no, I removed everything before installing. Here the content of the avatar:

    Are you using mpd?
If that is the case delete all the icons again and follow the mpd instructions in the first post.
If not, then set a different player in the configuration file and tell me what happens.
    Try totem.

oh, yes. It works now, thanks a lot.

I wonder if it is possible to use amazon for sourcing images. I've got covers in the directories only for those albums for which sonata cannot get the image remotely. It means that avatars are not generated for them. What if the avatar-factory first looks in the folder and then if there is nothing there on amazon?

To automatically download many covers you can use this program:

in sonata's preferences you can set it to store the cover art it fetches in the albums folder instead of ~/.covers, then just play a song from each album you don't have album art for and sonata will fetch it and store it

or for opening in a new window:
    Code:

Then use the --type 1 option:
    Code:

    Good
I uploaded a new version and now it should work with firefox by default:
    Code:
    avatar-factory -g youtube folder/2/save
    No --type option is needed.
