Sorry I didn't post my original results from Jaunty but I thought I must have just screwed up. I hope this helps.

    Feel free to shout anytime.
well, for all that, you still haven't shown me whether it shows up in the 'upgradeable' section in synaptic.
please see the last few posts in this thread (and the latest screenshot i posted), to see exactly what i'm looking for:

Hey I hit post #200. Does that mean I get to use Ubuntuzilla for free forever?

I wish I knew 10% of what you know.

No, it doesn't. I did especially look in this last test and the update shows up nowhere. Not even using filters.

Although it worked perfectly in Hardy!

I suspect a change between Intrepid and Jaunty.

well, i know it won't show up for you in jaunty, because thunderbird-mozilla-build was not installed. so of course, it won't be in section "installed (upgradeable)".

i was hoping you could look at it on a system where you did have 3.0 installed.

OK, last OS. Mint Gloria (which is Jaunty with some tweaks), yes!

Once it's installed it does show up in the Installed (upgradeable) category.

So it does matter whether it's installed or not.

BTW Karmic was rough but the newest Mint was 10 times worse!

Hey, I'm really tired, time to rest a bit

    Feature request:

(Not sure what you think about this, how much time you have for this, or how much work it would require)\

Even though I spent quite a bit of time putting together GUI instructions for adding the repository and signing key, what if UbuntuZilla had a .deb you could double-click, and the .deb would see if you already had the repository in /etc/apt/sources.list, add it if necessary, and add the signing key for the repository?
