    Firefox remembering Credit Card numbers?

I noticed whilst ordering something online the other day (on a secure site, https, I'm not that stupid!) that Firefox had remembered my debit card's number, security code, expiry date, holder name etc. I've obviously Cleared my personal data since then, but surely this is a huge security flaw in the otherwise tough Fox?

I happens to me, too. But only the Windows version seems to. I haven't had (or at least haven't noticed it) happen in Ubuntu...

Yeah, but what I mean is that it shouldn't be saving data entered on a https page in the first place, should it?

I don't think that firefox is smart enough to know when it is actually visiting a site that requires you to type in the credit card #.

Are you sure you just didn't leave autocomplete on (I always turn it off)? I've never had this happen to me (I may be a bit through in locking firefox down).

Go Edit > Preferences > Privacy > Uncheck "Remember what I enter in forms and search bar"

Thats the only thing comes to my mind...
