    Default Disable smilies in Text?

    Is there anyway I can have that as a default.

    Any Help is appreciated.

    The closest thing I can think of will disable all images in posts, not just smileys.

    UserCP->Edit Options->under Thread Display Options/Visible Post Elements,
    uncheck "Show Images"

    It's not ideal for what you want, though.

    Nope trying to disable smilies would be great to read pasted code in posts as well as your own post.

    Since this is a problem I would think it would help individuals to be able to read and post without worrying if a damn similies is going to appear.
