UT2004: screen is blank/black

When I try to launch the game, the screen goes all blank though I can hear the intro and menu music.

At first I thought Beryl was to blame, but disabling it didnt seem to help.

Any ideas?

I sorted this out and then uninstalled the game for other reasons. If I remember rightly you need to edit one of the config files - change the resolution to something that works on your machine. It defaults to 800x600 and that gave me a blank screen with sound. Changing it 1024x768 sorted it out.
