Share your Hydrogen Drumkits!

After installing Ubuntu Studio package I have been playing around with Hydrogen drumbox.

I love it! But I miss more drumkits..

I have installed the extra "drumkits for Hydrogen" from Synaptic, they are nice, but there aren't that many

I haven't been able to find any on the net other than the onces on there webpage (its the same as the onces in Synaptic)..

So if you know where to get more, please post a links or even better, If you created some please share them!

There is a Drumkit, form Musix GNU+Linux called Colombo Drum Kit.

I just use the ones from the site, which most of are in the hydrogen-drumkits package. I'll usually lay out what drums I want and after creating a good loop wave, import it into another program and modify the sound a bit

You can always find free samples and create your own drumkits too.

I was looking for something like this a few weeks ago. Thank you, archman! If there is much interest in having these downloads for the long-term, I will host them on my website (as I am creating an Ubuntu section), as well as any other community files.

All the available drum kits I use are from hydrogen's drum kits hosted at sourceforge: http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...kage_id=290536 With a total of 22 I'd say it would be a very great start for any beginner! I saved them all to a folder named drum kits in music and imported all of them into hydrogen. It isn't hard at all! But there is plenty of others just waiting to be found by searching the term "hydrogen drum kits" at the ubuntu home page (google) and theres a total of ten pages available in the search!
