how does this work with a remote configurations folder?
I have pidgin set up so that it goes to my external for it's Logs, config files, etc.

What is broken or not working properly for pidgin support of SILC

I've tried manual compiles and each time i have issues with the silc part of pidgin.

and i've tried with debs but still no luck.

    Any suggestions ?

I'm not sure if you followed my how to because of the link you are using. Don't know how much I can help too cz I'm a noob.

The file I downloaded was the guifications only... This one.

Them just "untar" it using CLI and compile it. It should start working right after that....
