    Windows and internet pages

Wasnt sure where to post about this for help,

but on this windows XP (very recently upgraded to SP2) box, webpages render badly, using both internet explorer 6 and 7 and firefox 2.

There is just an absence of colours and things where there should be stuff.
    Its very odd.

Same pc's linux partition shows wepbpages no problem, i should add.

    Firefox:

wow....maybe too many full-sized webpages, don't you think? anyway, try to adjust the fonts of firefox (and you could also try working on the way windows displays the fonst - cleartype and so on). I have no problem with internet pages displaying in xp whatsoever (I use firefox and ie7)
aslo check your browsers settings (load images etc)

    Re: Windows and internet pages

But thats the thing, its not a browser setting as i had the problem on IE so was like, ok i'll install firefox, but the problem persisted there!
Makes me think its something thats deeper than just the browser...

Will try install opera see if its ok with that.

Also i get your point about the full size images, will scale them if i get some free time.

    Ok i fixed it!

Problem was that i had 'Use High Contrast Colour Scheme' enabled under accessibility.
    Never mind...
