Ubuntu starts, you hear Orca speak but either the Gnome splash screen or the panels freeze up, requiring a CTRL+ALT+BACKSPACE to re-login. It is very frequent in these two scenarios, both including Orca set to start up automatically.
1. If you have auto-login enabled you'll very likely have a false start upon cold or warm boot.
2. You just logged out (maybe you made changes that required you to log out) and you log back in.
I don't remember seeing this problem in Edgy, even though I had seen it in other distros like openSuSE, Mandriva and PCLinuxOS. Now, its showing its ugly head in Festy, and very frequently.
Anyone else experiencing this?
