Hard to believe but I found setting up Beryl easier than getting Orca to do full-screen magnification. So I now have Orca as a speech-only aid and using Beryl for magnification and color inversion. I can put up with the loss of tracking - I still prefer full-screen mag with no caret tracking than full tracking in a small docked window that steals screen real estate ala MS Magnifier.
One thing though, it appears that Sabayon is the only distro where Beryl can magnify the mouse pointer. For those of us mortals who use Beryl in other distros, like Ubuntu, how can we get a larger mouse pointer so it doesn't get lost in the magnified Beryl screen?
