Joke gone wrong to friend

Well, i was screwing with my friend, playing a joke on him, and i changed the hertz refresh rate on his computer and made it stay like that and now i cant change it back lol. Any ideas on how to reset it? He had XP by the way.

OK you need to find out what is the monitors recomended refresh rate..
its a safe bet if its new it should be 60hertz..still check though.
In windows click Start>Control Panel>Appearance and Themes>Change the screen resolution>settings>advanced>Monitor>and the refresh rate should be there.
If Nvidia is installed there also might be a Nvidia control panel there in Apperance and Themes..
