According to Mozilla Firefox 1.5 will be at end of life on April 24, 2007 (today). Dapper Drake, the long term release is still current and will be until 2009 on the desktop. For the 32bit version it is simple to just go to Mozilla, download 2.0 and copy it in place. But not so for the 64bit version of Dapper Drake. I have tried compiling it and have not had any success yet.

I prefer Dapper over Edgy. I have yet to form an opinion about Feisty. Dapper is very stable for me. I have tested other versions. But I have yet found a reason to move away from Dapper while almost 2 years of updates remain, 4 on my server.
