Scheduling an IRC meeting - Alabama-LoCo

Seems we have enough now that we need to try and set up an IRC meeting. That way we can all meet-up and get to know each other as well as maybe coordinate and projects as well. That way we can kick this thing into gear!
Please think about what topics you guys would like to cover and lets see if we can agree on a time to meet up.
Pretty much anytime is good for me I will make arrangements to be available.
    Please post you suggestions!

Sounds good to me. A suggestion though...what about maybe setting up two different times to meet up (IRC-wise) so that any that couldn't make it for one could make the other. Reason why is that some (like me) may work varying shifts so the secondary time would help keep us up to date.

Or maybe a newsletter/email sent out to recap the meeting? This may work out better but either would be a good idea for keeping everyone in the loop.

Cool, I am currently still trying to get a mailing list set up. That way we can mail out the log from the meeting. I also plan on setting it up as an official meeting so it will be logged with Ubuntu as well.
The 2 meeting idea is fine by me. Just need to know if meeting during the week or weekend is better. I'm also guessing that an evening meeting would generally be easier.

My job has me working odd hours at various times but I figure I can make one eventually.

I'm game . Anytime during the weekend is fine for me. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I am busy with Baseball, plus, I think most people can find a little free time in their weekend some way anyhow

What about a meeting at 7:00PM Tuesday? This will be more of a casual meeting so we can all get an idea of what each other is about. Maybe get some direction and ideas to projects.
I will keep a log of the meeting and possibly have it set up to log through Ubuntu as well.
If the time needs to be tweaked lets do it now. I will post it in the Team meeting section of the Team Wiki tomorrow if no one else gets to it first.
We can also plan another meeting shortly after if needed for those who cannot make it due to work.
    Just let me know.
Also be thinking of Ideas between now and then of things to benefit the group an dthe community.

    Thanks
