t test with gnumeric

Has anyone been able to do t tests on gnumeric in Ubuntu. I have edgy at work and if I attempt a t test between two variables, the results are all 0 and 'NAN'. With Feisty, gnumeric crashes as soon as I select t test in the menu. Is mine an isolated experience ? Does anyone have ideas to get around this. Will building from latest source solve the problems ?

My t-test is not working on edgy either... never noticed this before now.
