try downloading the linux version from here:

    http://pcsx2.net/downloads.php

no compiling needed. just download the tarball, extract, and run the executable.

the Zeropad controller plugin doesn't pick up my gamepad's left analog stick for me for some reason (seems like that Zeropad plugin is a problem for a lot of people), but the program runs fine from the little bit i've used it...

Re: PCSX2 0.9.3 Released for Linux!

I hadn't any problem running it, I've tried with my ps2 dvds and everything works good (even if with some minor bug) but is there a way to run iso ? because I can't find in the dvd plugin list the plugin that should manage isos...(I'm kinda tired of switching disks and a couple of my disks have scratches and they're giving me some problems while playing )

Is there a way to get this running on 64bit Ubuntu. A work around with 32bit libraries maybe?

    May be:
checking for main in -lGLEW... no
    and

../GS.h:41:21: error: GL/glew.h: No such file or directory
    Try install glew dev package.

The pcsx2 devs recommend to run it via a 32bit chroot. I've opted for a 32bit install solely for the purpose of running pcsx2 and I'm really happy with it .
