Re: What is Your World View?

    Well, here's what I got.

    You scored as Complete *******

Complete Assholes are probably one of the oldest groups in existence, and among its hallowed ranks, lays claim to politicians, lawyers, generals, and residents of ivory towers. This group centers around the belief that it is perfectly acceptable to force one's own views on others, and when encountering dissent or disagreement, the offending elements or individuals are judiciously ignored. Passive agression is a common form of behaviour. Those who do not understand this behaviour often respond by crying, or grudging acceptance, or, in the case of wild, dazzlingly beautiful women, awe and sexual desire. The meaning of life is whatever you decide, and all other views are wrong.

    Anyone else get this?
Future Ubuntu release names (following the usual scheme):

    Prickly Porcupine

    Busy Beaver

Wicked Weasel (a little nod to the Australian-based micro-bikini company of the same name, God bless you!)

    You scored as Cultural Creative.

Cultural Creatives are probably the newest group to enter this realm. You are a modern thinker who tends to shy away from organized religion but still feels as if there is something greater than ourselves. You are very spiritual, even if you are not religious. Life has a meaning outside of the rational.

Don't thnk that's a good idea. Some might offended by the fact that some mght say something that completely makes fun or offends someone's religious believes (like, meine).

    Don't think that's a good idea.
I was just critiquing the poll, not voicing any intent or anything

Re: What is Your World View?

    You scored as Modernist.

Modernism represents the thought that science and reason are all we need to carry on. Religion is unnecessary and any sort of spirituality halts progress. You believe everything has a rational explanation. 50% of Americans share your world-view.

Re: What is Your World View?

    You scored as Materialist.

Materialism stresses the essence of fundamental particles. Everything that exists is purely physical matter and there is no special force that holds life together. You believe that anything can be explained by breaking it up into its pieces. i.e. the big picture can be understood by its smaller elements.

    I'm with Satre:

    You scored as Existentialist.

Existentialism emphasizes human capability. There is no greater power interfering with life and thus it is up to us to make things happen. Sometimes considered a negative and depressing world view, your optimism towards human accomplishment is immense. Mankind is condemned to be free and must accept the responsibility.
