I wanted my Grub splash image to blend with my GDM and my desktop Wallpaper, so I made my "Dreaming of Ubuntu" package using the Ubuntu "Dreaming of the Future" wallpaper by lokheed. You can get it here.

Nice I did add the black GDM and left out the wallpaper, though I might give it a nice background display behind the image, good share!

Good job Picasso! It really does have a nice professional artistic feel to it. The robot leaning up against the tombstone makes you stop and think for a second...
what's he dreaming of? Why are hearts floating up in the air? Is he in love with Ubuntu? If so, why is he resting on a cemetery plot bearing an unmarked tombstone? Can robots really die? Is this robot dieing? and why?
It really is a piece of art. Looks great and left me guessing...

The tombstone has the Windows logo. Look closely (top of his head) . And btw, I just compiled it, /me no Picasso.

what about a gnome splash image?? so it can be a complete set...grub splash gdm splash wallpaper...
I'm sorry. I realize that I am dragging up a very old thread. But I have been using this set for a very long time, as I happened across this thread when it was new, but didn't post. And I would like to also request a gdm-splash image. I'm not very artistic, and I have no idea how to make this set look good as a splash.
