squeeze it and release it =)
Hi!
I cooked together a script, it depends on youtube-dl, zenity and aria2 (all of whom are to be found in the official repos) which makes it more easy to download and rip music from YouTube.
It can be found there, with screenshots, http://www.petur.eu/blog/?p=5
Install using the .deb or download the .src (it's a bash script)
Ps. I'm pretty sure some moderators will think that this post is supporting illegal activity.. but please do consitter that the main component of it, youtube-dl, is available in the official repos with the description:
"youtube-dl - download videos from youtube"
... Ripping music from YouTube? Are you mad, or do you just have something against good quality audio?
I usually listen English songs via rythmbox plugin via jamendo .
BTW the download torrent option in jamendo mostly never has a single seeder
Most commercial music I buy through the Ubuntu store. But I also get a lot of freely-shared music from bands at SoundClick.com - amazing variety of stuff there, some of it for a fee but much of it free, with so many interesting groups across so many genres that it's kept me quite happy discovering new tunes for years.
really bad question here... if i were to want to use pirate bay, whats the best torrent client to use for ubuntu?
