    Download Speed: 6281 kbps (785.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
    Upload Speed: 367 kbps (45.9 KB/sec transfer rate)

    also using the Dallas, TX server

    yes, my upload speed is higher than my download speed. i don't pay for that, i actually pay for a 3.0Mbps plan, but haven't received that kind of speed in months!

    anyone else with Verizon DSL have these issues?

    I have Verizon DSL, not sure of the problems you speak of?

    I refuse to install Flash for any reason, so I can't run the linked test. However, I know from experience that my download speeds typically max out at 624KB/s and my uploads between 60 and 70KB/s. I have a 6mbit down/3mbit up connection and am only 1200 line feet from the main switch.

    I don't care what their website claims, it still seems like a very questionable practice, legally speaking. Just my opinion of course.
