Desktop Hardware Incompatibility List.

Motherboard: Asus Rampage IV Formula
CPU: Intel i7 3930K
GPU: EVGA Classified Nvidia Geforce 580GTX 3072 GB
RAM: Corsair Dominator 4GB modules ( 4 of them )
HDD: 2x Ocz Agility 3 SSDs 128GB

Freezes when attempting to install 12.04 in UEFI mode; seems fine in legacy BIOS, but I want to install in UEFI mode. Gets as far as first screen after the initial boot menu.

For the record, 11.10 installs cleanly and works like a charm, what I have normally come to expect from Ubuntu releases.

4) Been getting errors since the 11.04 update that "Input Not Supported" after selecting Ubuntu when it gives me the option to boot up Vista or Ubuntu.

I have a 20' LCD Acer monitor running at 1600 x 900 resolution @ 60 Hertz.

I have to wait for the Moving message to go away (About 30 seconds) before it takes me to the login screen.

When I put in my password and log in the entire screen goes black and all I can see is the cursor. There it stay like that.

This happened after I installed the Nvidia graphics accelerator and restarted like it told me to.

The other Ubuntu versions before Ubuntu 11.04 ran much faster and had no problems with my graphics or really bad processor (AMD Athlon 64 @ 1.6 GHz)

Cannon 5150 seems to work out of the box with 12.04...have not tested scanner.

Note:

The Hercules RMX is listed as "incompatible", this isn't true anymore.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:rojtberg/hdjmod 
sudo apt-get update 
sudo apt-get install hdjmod-dkms
sudo modprobe hdj_mod
sudo bash -c 'echo hdj_mod >> /etc/modules'

Will install it just fine.
Reboot and it should be recorgnised by the normal sound config as a surround card and by mixxx as the console.
Tested (and working) on ubuntu 11.10 32bit

Canon LPB2900i printer not picked up by Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. When the drivers are installed, it still does not work without a bash script workaround.

It works occasionally and you need to plug/unplug several times....
When it works it is perfect (media keys too).

Ubuntu installs very slow, but it does install when you get to the desktop anything you try to open takes a few seconds to respond, Compiz is using constantly 45-50% cpu and the systems is basically unusable this 1.6ghz processor and integrated GPU cant seem to handle the load making Ubuntu unstable and eventually freezes up.
