Question MSS2 codec - how????

I wanted to watch some video tutorial that have .wmv extension but I got error message that MSS2 plugin is not handled.....

I am using Totem Movie Player.

After searching the Internet I could not find the solution.

Re: MSS2 codec - how????

I'm having the same problems. Anyone out there with a way to:
1) playback MSS2 files or
2) convert MSS2 files to files that can be played?

any help would be appreciated!

Exclamation Re: MSS2 codec - how????

Hi Folks...
OK, I've opened my WMV File witch caused me this Problem on a Window machine
with Windows Media Player .....

i got some Message about DRM and buying a Licence.... at the End i endet up on some Porn Site....

So i guess there is no need to have this CODEC realy running on UBUNTU.. i guess it's a Security Hole on Windows Media Player...
