Unable to download packages using Gutsy debmirror

Good news for Gutsy users, libcompress-zlib-perl (2.005-1ubuntu0.2) is now available in the updates repository.
From the changelog for the .deb in the Gutsy Updates repo:
Update libcompress-zlib-perl now and give this How-To a try and post your results.libcompress-zlib-perl (2.005-1ubuntu0.2) gutsy-updates; urgency=low
* No-change upload of the -proposed version to -updates. For some reason
gutsy-updates only got the source package copied. (LP: #136634)

libcompress-zlib-perl (2.005-1ubuntu0.1) gutsy-proposed; urgency=low
* Make debmirror work again instead of dropping the entire contents of pool/
and not downloading anything:
Add patch 02_restore-gzreadline-record-separator-behaviour.patch:
Hard-codes "\n" as record separator (do not mangle with the *global* $/,
but set it to "\n" locally) before calling $gz->getline for the
actual read. (LP: #136634)

May I suggest an additional tip for this page/post:

@BobSongs:
Yes, this works, but in the debmirror man page I found something better:Should the download stop unexpectedly, simply re-run the same command.
--timeout=seconds -t
Specifies the timeout to use for network operations (either FTP or rsync). Set this to a higher value if you experience failed down‐loads. Defaults to 300 seconds.

Yay! Thanks, jocose. I'll make mention of it on the first page. I'll post a link directly to your posts!
Many thanks, merci beaucoup!
I'm glad to hear this issue's been resolved.
I appreciate being kept up to date. Seems this humble lil' tutorial gets a fair number of viewings.

Forgive the long delay.
Yes. This is the only site of its kind I know of that offers pre-made ISOs for downloading. I appreciate the slowness of teh connection, but patience is indeed the order of the day when someone offers a free service.
Forgive the delay: I didn't see your post at all. I know you've gotten your ISOs by now. *blush*

Sorry again to be a pain in the proverbial but I wondered what would the commands be to add UbuntuStudio to the Repositories. I currently only have an internet connection on my laptop and want to add UbuntuStudio to my desktop so the only way I can think of to do that is by downloading the repo (if indeed there is one available) and to install it by cd.

I just tried to do the canonical repo without success. Here is my output.
Anyone have any ideas what's wrong? By the way, for faster downloading times from repositories, you can use the Software Sources tool in System > Administration (it is also able to be reached from synaptic, by going to Settings > Repositories. Click the Download from dropdown menu and select other, then click the Select Best Server button in the window that comes up.
